16 Places that I Want to Travel
9:00 AM
About 10 years ago, on my first flight to Florida, I caught the travel bug. Road trips, train rides, flights - anything that let's me go, I love. I've been to a lot of places so far (for my age range and for where I come from): Florida, Georgia, California, Tennessee, Ohio, Alabama, Iowa, Germany, Illinois, Austria, the Bahamas, and Poland. And I love that list; I only hope to extend it even more over the years.
Reading travel blogs and fashion blogs and basically any type of blog has me aching to get out and do more. Granted, I am only about to be 18, so I think that I have some time left to scratch that travel bug. It's just when I get it, I want it taken care of now. I want to go, go, go. As I mentioned last week, I was accepted to Semeser at Sea - that's quite a few places right there. I also plan to study abroad sometime during college. But honestly, I'm open to wherever the road or air takes me. I just need the money and accomodations.
Travel Bucket List
2. Arizona | Arizona Sate University was my third university that I was considering. I love the heat, and Arizona obviously has that. And what I see so far of the Arizona culture, I like: bohemian all of the way.
3. Mexico | I actually have a friend few friends who live here (plus, one of my closest friends in Michigan is Mexican), and they have convinced me to visit Mexico. The food (of course), the culture, and the people are drawing me in. I specifically want to visit Monterrey and Cancun. Despite how much my family warns me not to go because of the violence, I feel like with a bit of precautions, I will be fine.
4. Puerto Rico | I do not really have much to say about this place, except that I want to go.
5. Costa Rica | My sister traveled here for a week, and she absolutely loved it! After she told me about her experience, I have a strong desire to go to this country.
6. Chile | Once again, I have a a couple of friends who live here (hey, Gabo!), and I would love to visit them and their home country. I want to see how the Chileans live their lives.
7. Argentina | See the reason above, only for Argentinians.
8. Brazil | Really? ^ Brazilians
9. Australia and New Zealand | Once upon a time, I had a crazy infatuation with Australia. I wanted to learn everything I could about it, its residents, and the way of life there. As for New Zealand, I have a friend who studied abroad there, and her photos and everything gave me life. I also learned about the Maori, who are indigenious Polynesian people of New Zealand, and I want to visit and learn more about them and their culture.
10. Thailand | I have two main reasons to want to visit Thailand: 1. so I can hang out with my study abroad friend, Tam, again, and 2. to volunteer with an animal (specifically dog) rescue group.
11. Canada (How am I from Michigan and have never been? I don't know.) | Literally because Canada.

12. Italy | There is not a special reason why I want to go to Italy. I have heard about and seen through photos how beauitful this country is. Italian is also a language that I aspire to learn, and what better way to do that than with the natives?
13. Spain | I want to see how Spainards live. I want to experience a seista, although they might be getting rid of it, unfortunately.
14. India | Such a vibrant country, India has always been on my bucket list. I want to travel to the north, south, east, and west of the country. I want to meet Indians. I want to experience life there.
15. South Africa | I would love to visit as many places in Africa as possible one day; however, with the threat of terrorism in many of the countries, I sadly feel that that is not possible in today's world. Thankfully not every country is threatened, and South Afria is one. I do not want to visit just Capetown, but South Africa as a whole. I know three people that live there, and I really want to go there and experience their culture (black and white).
