I remember when Rihanna's first single "Pon de Replay" came out. Those days seem like so long ago, but in reality, it was only 11 years ago. Wait, woah - yeah, that definitely was some time ago. It seems crazy how fast the years pass by. Now, we have Rihanna's popular "Work" playing constantly on the radio. Her newest album ANTI is quickly making its way to my favorite Rihanna album. Some other songs that I love from the album include "Desparado," "Consideration" feat. SZA, and "Sex With Me." Musician, song-writer, and producer, Babyface has been playing nonstop on my playlist. Babyface has made an abundance of hit records, and not only for himself. He has written for Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, TLC, Bobby Brown, Michael Jackson, Mary J. Blige, and more. One album of his that I have not been able to stop playing is his most recent one: "Return of the Tender Love." It has soul; it has class; it has everything that one could imagine from Babyface.

Hola, baby. Anyone that knows me knows that I love Spanish music. Reggaeton, Bachata, Salsa, Regional Mexican - I like them all. One of my favorite artists, Ken-Y, is from Puerto Rico. He is known as "The King of Romance," which also happens to be the title of his most recent album. "Ángel y Diablo" is my favorite song off of the aforementioned album, and "Como Lo Hacia Yo feat. I would also like to mention that today is Cinco de Mayo! It is not the Mexican Independence Day like a lot of people think; that is celebrated on September 16th. Cinco de Mayo is actually the commemoration of Mexico's win during the Battle of Puebnla in 1862. While America celebrates this holiday a lot more than Mexico does {we obviously like any excuse to party; plus, it's a day we use to celebrate Mexican-Americans and their culture}, it is a day that everyone should learn about because of its historical events. I personally believe that if you are going to celebrate a holiday, then you should know (or attempt to learn) the history of it. It shows that you are interested in the culture and are not simply appropriating it in order to party. {This is not me trying to start an argument over any social issues.} Cinco de Mayo is not simply a party day. Take the day to celebrate and get to know the Mexican/Chicano(a) culture and traditions.

I cannot express how much I love Tupac Shakur. His style, his music, his voice - it's all so old school and unique. He's a legend. {Oh my, oh my, if I die, I'm a legend.} The music he made spoke to many, whether he was rapping about living in the ghettos, racism, sex, or single parenthood. Some of my favorite 2Pac songs are "Changes," "Keep Your Head Up," "I Get Around," and "Hail Mary." What are yours? Check out some of his music below!

I love me some good 'ole classic music. I'm going way back to Frank Sinatra. His music is classic, and there is no other person like Frank. (But Michael Bublé is a modern-day Frank, I'd say). You probably know him from his popular song "Say It," but Tory Lanez has a lot more to offer. Starting his career in 2009 with his mixtape T.L. 2 T.O, Tory has made a big name for himself. After being introduced to "Say It," I went on a Tory streak and downloaded many of his songs. Some of my favorites are "Diego," "Remembrance Day,"One Day," "Stuck On U," and "B.L.O.W.," and "L.A. Bring Me the Horizon is my favorite band. I've been through multiple "favorite" bands, but once I discovered this one, I could not let go. They have experimented with a lot of different sounds to their music, and I have loved all of them. I believe that letting an artist/band grow and discover who they really are is the key to lasting and not breaking up or losing their voice. In 2015, BMTH came out with the album That's The Spirit. That album stole my heart away. But if you want to listen to my all-time favorite album of theirs, it is Sempiternal.
